Historically, Fery use the name because he is often called "Grandpa" by his friends, until become a habit. then one day, he wanted to make shirts with nickname, but he lacks confidence for fear of looking old when wearing the shirt, and then he added the word "Kids" after the word "Grand Father", and finally created the T-shirt use the name, Grand Father Kids.
With unexpected his friends like Fery's T-shirt, comes the demand from his friends. From there, Fery started making T-shirts for sale. And the result, You know what? the good news.
After that, Fery moved to Bandung to study design there. While in college, he began to build the Grand Father Kids, starting from finding a place of production, a place to work, until start an online business. Because he can not consciously do it all himself, he began looking for partners.
Product and design produced by GFK also began to change, over time. More simple, elegant, and easy to be accepted by society. But still missing, Fery thinking to add an element of cultural and social life into its products. In the end, Grand Father Kids have the Artistic Cultural characteristics.
