Since the early days of the band Them as genre melodic punk rock, power is the main capital Them. From the beginning, Distortion OF MONDAY consists of 3 people. Pulux (vocals, guitar), choky (drummer, backing. Vocals), and Kobe (bass). First, the band was named TOM KILL Jerry, the name taken by the bassist (Kobe) from cartoon characters Tom And Jerry and changed the words and to "kill". A year later the bassist resigned for reasons of work, and bassist was replaced by (Jhon Amang), but did not move even a few months old Jhon Amang exit TOM Jerry Kill, And Pulux and Choky eventually changed the name Jerry TOM AND KILL become distortion OF MONDAY. The name was taken from the day of their training sessions.
During the three months Distortion OF MONDAY runs with two personnel. Because of the large upcoming shows, they decided to take the aditional. Anda (Bass) And Didit (lead guitar). But a short of time, Anda decided to stop being an aditional, to continue his studies in the city of Palu. And finally they find a role as bassist Andy, we know Andy from KILL RECORD studio where they recorded, and also Didit that they make permanent personnel. And now, they have a greater power with full personnel. Through NEW DAY album, Pulux (vocals, guitar), Didit (guitar), Andy (bass, backing vocals) and Choky (drums, backing vocals) make the songs more energetic and full of distortions. The shedding of our lyrics are inspired from everyday life, hurt, gather, and the nature of anarchy from DISTORTION OF MONDAY build the songs ambience not only through the distortion alone but with pounding bass and drums beating. But also through programming and sampling arrangements that decorate his music.
